When it comes to campfire cooking, easy recipes that require minimum effort mean you can enjoy more time socializing before, during and after you cook. My boyfriend and I just launched a series of Campfire Cookouts at a new glamping venue called CampV. Located in Naturita, CO (52 miles from Telluride, CO) this Camp beckons the spirited wanderer to step back into nature. We absolutely love cooking for the guests and it’s super fun for me to come up with new and exciting menus to suit all the hungry guests, meat eaters, pescatarians and plant based.
My original recipe for Campfire Skillet S’mores was ready for a reinvention so now we have….ta daa…Ultimate Campfire Skillet S’mores which is a hit with everyone each time we prepare it. This version has layers of chocolate, butterscotch, coconut and marshmallows. It’s a total party to dive into.
S’mores are always top of the list at any cookout, but this dessert elevates a classic we already know and love so much. I’ll share more about CampV soon, stay tuned for that. In the mean time, let’s make some skillet s’mores!
