Banana Creamy Pie – Gluten Free

Perhaps you saw this photo on Instagram a few weeks ago. A lot of you “liked” it so I decided that even though I did not have high resolution photos all was OK.

A few things you need to know about this pie: My son wanted a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. With all of my time in the kitchen and the feasting that went on that day a pie never happened. My mind was stuck on savories and the turkey. Other desserts were enjoyed, but not the little guys pie. The following morning he woke up and begged for a banana cream pie, in his footie PJ’s. And his bright blue eyes. With sweet little cheeks.

Vintage Glamour at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons

A day away can transform you. Really. Just 24 hours can change your world. It did mine. Sometimes you do not need to travel far to have a wonderfully blissful vacation. Recently I visited the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire hotel. This landmark beauty is right in the heart of Beverly Hills, CA. I snuck out from behind the Orange Curtain (The OC) to visit the great land of 90210.

We had a rainy, cool weekend here in the OC and I thought it was time to post a warm and comforting Rustic Roasted Tomato Soup. This is a classic soup that should be in everyone’s recipe box. It is very simple to prepare and wonderful all year round.
